Accountants and advisers from some of the UK’s leading medium-sized accounting firms have gained deeper insights into the profession and its future direction at this year’s CharterGroup Conference.

With a common theme of ‘Strategies for Success’, the event not only brought together key leaders from across accounting but also featured influential guest speakers, including the CEO of the ICAEW, Michael Izza.

Delegates at this year’s event also heard from former England cricketer, Mark Ramprakash, on the importance of creating a winning mindset within team and learned about the importance of professional services to entrepreneurs from the former owner of City Cruises, Gary Beckwith.

These speakers were part of a wider programme of talks, breakout sessions, workshops and activities, as well as exhibits from leading vendors, which took place over two days at the Staverton Park Hotel in Daventry.
