I have been hearing a lot recently that employers increasingly need to tailor and personalise things to a much higher degree than in the past, both in the recruitment process and also in managing and retaining existing staff. I’d like to host a good discussion of some ways in which employers can implement this with practical tips and advice. My panel of expert speakers will be:
- Karen Arch, Director of People at BHP Chartered Accountants
- Jill Wright, Partner at Kirk Newsholme Chartered Accountants
- Lorraine Twist, Director of Professional Services UK&I Senior Finance at Hays
- Catherine Wallis, Operations Director at The ONE Group
- Javed Bobat, Finance Recruiter at Fide
- Nik Pratap, Managing Partner at Pratap Partnership
- Mark Wishart, Senior Manager at Pure Resourcing Solutions
We will break the webinar into two sections, roughly 45 minutes each:
8.30am to 9.15am – individualisation in recruitment; communicating and interacting with candidates through the recruitment process from initial engagement to interview/assessment to offer/acceptance to the pre-start period
9.15am to 10am – individualisation in managing staff to improve retention and motivation; delegation, managing, monitoring, training, salary and benefits, career planning and progression
